About the founder
Mac Smith
Founder
Smith grew up in Toledo, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wake Forest University, a law degree from the University of Montana; and a Master of Law degree in Environmental Law from Lewis & Clark University.
As a real estate developer with experience in renovating historic properties, Smith has personal business experience that pairs with legal experience in helping others with their real estate/property needs.
Few attorneys have taken the time to understand small water utility regulation and rate making, and Smith can provide unique insight into this area of law.
In growing up working for and watching a maintenance products company co-founded by his grandfather decades ago grow in size, Smith appreciates the important balance between supporting small businesses that supply products we need and environmental regulations that keep our environment safe and beautiful.
Smith has carried that ethos into his practice.
